Parenting in today’s world requires more than love—it requires knowledge, tools, and the courage to challenge systems that were never built for our children. The Supernova Parenting Course is a transformative, culturally responsive 9-week course that equips caregivers with the skills, understanding, and community they need to raise thriving children while honoring their full humanity.

Designed by Natasha Nelson—Supernova Momma, this course blends Positive Discipline, Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities Education, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress research, Child Development Education, Polyvagal Theory, Sensory Integration, and the Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences (HOPE) framework into a practical, accessible, and relatable parenting approach.

Participants will explore how to:

  • Parent with kindness and firmness at the same time

  • Recognize and regulate their own stress responses

  • Support and accept neurodivergent children without forcing conformity

  • Decode challenging behaviors as communication of unmet needs

  • Build a family culture rooted in connection, resilience, and joy

I think this class is amazing and Natasha's trauma-informed approach really sets the tone for being able to show up & be present. Having the space to acknowledge that we didn't get a road map for how to do things differently as parents, and that we also need to re-parent the wounded children inside as part of this work has changed a lot for me. The intentional nature of the classes, as well as being able to view the recordings if unable to attend live, was a huge help.
